What this service covers
A leftover stump is a trip hazard, a mower killer and somewhere for pests to settle in. We run a stump grinder on the front of a compact track loader and take stumps down well below ground level, so you can put the spot back to use — reseed it, plant over it, run a fence through it, or just be rid of it.
We'll take out the stump and the surface roots, then either backfill the hole with the grindings or push them off to one side, whichever you'd rather have. What it costs depends on the size of the stump, how many you have and how close we can get the machine to them, so we'll give you a straight number once we've looked.

The kit for stump grinding
The work runs off a JCB compact track loader. What changes from job to job is the attachment on the front of it.
For stump grinding that’s the stump grinder. The same loader takes the mulcher head, grapple and bucket too, so the attachment gets picked to suit what’s actually on the ground.
