The fine print

Privacy Policy

Last updated August 15, 2026

We keep this simple: what you tell us is used to quote your job and reply to you, and nothing else. We also use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people actually use. We never sell your information, and we don't run advertising or remarketing tags. Here's the full picture.

Who we are

This site is run by Carter's Tractor Services LLC of Baxley, GA. We're the ones who decide what information this site collects and what happens to it, so we're who to come to with a question about it. Email carterstractorservices@gmail.com or call (912) 777-0611.

What we collect

Most of what we hold is what you choose to give us:

  • Quote and contact requests. When you ask for a quote or get in touch, we collect your name, contact details (email and/or phone), the address of the property, and your message about the work you need done.
  • Scheduling details. If we book a service, we keep what we need to do the job — like your address, preferred dates, and any access notes you share.
  • Site activity. Google Analytics records how the site is used — the pages you look at, your device and browser, and roughly what part of the country you're in. We also keep our own count of taps on the call buttons. None of it carries your name, and it's set out in full under “Cookies and analytics” below.
  • Faults and errors. If a page breaks while you're using it, we get an automatic report so we can fix it. It covers the address of the page, what went wrong, and which browser you were using — not your name and not what you typed.

How we use it

We use your name, contact details, address, and message to reply to you, prepare your quote, and schedule and carry out the work. We don't use it for anything else, and it never goes into our analytics — those two sets of information stay apart.

What we never do

  • We never sell, rent, or trade your information.
  • We don't run advertising or remarketing tags, and we don't let our analytics be used to target ads at you.
  • We don't build a profile of you across other websites.
  • We never send your name, email, phone number, or property address to Google Analytics.

Cookies and analytics

Three kinds of cookie run on this site.

  • Essential. A session cookie and a security token that protects the forms against cross-site request forgery. The site can't work without them, and they aren't used to track you.
  • Preference. One cookie remembers whether you want the site light or dark, so it looks the same next time you come back. It holds that one word and nothing else.
  • Analytics. Google Analytics sets a couple of cookies so it can tell a returning visit from a new one. They're what let us count visits and see which pages people read.

Google Analytics is told the pages you look at, the site or search that sent you, your device and browser, and an approximate location worked out from your IP address — Google doesn't pass the IP address itself on to us. We read the result as totals and trends, never as a person. What Google does with it is covered by Google's privacy policy. If you'd rather not be counted, Google publishes a browser add-on that switches Analytics off on every site, and most tracker blockers stop it too.

Separately, we keep our own tally of taps on the call buttons. We store the button, the page it was on, and the time — no cookie, no IP address, nothing that points back to you.

Keeping spam out

Our forms use a hidden honeypot field and rate limiting to block automated spam. These check how a form is submitted, not who you are.

Who helps us run things

A few trusted services handle the plumbing on our behalf: Resend delivers our email, Amazon Web Services hosts the site and stores our photos and backups, Google Analytics measures traffic, and Sentry tells us when a page breaks. Resend, Amazon and Sentry only process what they need to provide those services, and they don't get your information for their own marketing.

Sentry only hears from us when something goes wrong. It gets the address of the page that failed, the error itself, and what browser you were using. It sets no cookies, and we've switched off the option that would attach your IP address or anything you had typed into a form.

What Google may do with the traffic data is set out in their own privacy policy, linked under “Cookies and analytics” above.

How long we keep it

We keep quote and contact requests while we're helping you and for a reasonable time afterward in case you reach back out. We keep records of completed jobs as long as needed for support and basic accounting. Ask us to delete your information any time and we will, unless we're required to keep it.

Your choices

You can email us any time to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you. We'll always do our best to help.

Children

This site is meant for adults and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change what we collect, we'll update this page and change the date at the top.
